The Knights Templar Trust

The Trust was formed in 2003 and is registered as a Charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under Number 1093962. Its aim is:

"TO RELIEVE INDIVIDUALS RESIDENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND WORLD-WIDE WHO ARE SICK OR DISABLED OR DISADVANTAGED OR IN ANY WAY IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES"

Fundraising and charitable activities include:

  • 2010
    • February - from concept to full co-ordination by one of our new Associates of a Musical concert with the London Full Gospel Church choir, the Weald opera and the Knights Templar Trust which raised over £1000 for books and school equipment for the Molo 220 secondary school in Kenya
  • 2009
    • Raising funds for local youth club, RNLI and UK armed services £2000, Air ambulance charity £2000 and animal rescue £1000, Dogs for the blind over £3,500 - UK
    • Contribution to the Salvation Army and American Cancer society - USA
    • Logistical and material support for Australia literacy program, providing refurbished computers and generators together with wheelchairs for landmine victims- Australia
    • Help with Aldeas Infantiles SOS - Spain
    • Sponsored charity runs for the Red Cross, Marie Cure and the NSPCC - UK
    • Aid with resources for education, healthcare and social assistance - Brazil
    • Educational assistance with autistic children - Norway
    • Provision of young peoples club and assistance with forum for firemen group - Chile
    • Assistance with elderly people and general medical treatments to distant communities - Brazil
    • Volunteer help with flooding catastrophe in North Dakota - USA
    • Work with handicapped children in Hawaii - USA
    • Raising funds in marathon runs in Athens and San Diego for Leukaemia sufferers - USA
    • Donations of £1000 to the charity ARK, £500 to Merlin, £100 to the Princes trust, cross country run raising over £750 for the charity BIBIC, and a cross country trek in Santiago, Spain raising over £33,000 for various specific charities of which our Associate was a constituent member - UK
    • Charity event in 2009 to raise funds for Pancreatic cancer research fund (in 2008 over £13,000 raised) - UK
    • Medical assistance and community work for needy people by an "Associate" doctor - Ecuador
    • Building 3 further water wells to supply three schools - Cambodia
    • Children's project in Kentucky - USA
    • Random acts of kindness by an Associate in Afghanistan - USA
    • Templar day hospital unit, day-care help centre and sheltered housing complex - Scotland
    • Portsmouth Association for the blind - UK
    • Healing therapy with Marie Curie Hospice and other Hospices care - UK
    • 2 healing foundations - Venezuela
    • Volunteer work for the Cerebral Palsy Charity - UK
    • Re-establishing local Scout facilities - UK

    • Neighbourhood watch scheme creation and community improvements -UK

    • Llame foundation, over $7000 raised for 90 Autistic children in teaching home - Durango, Mexico
    • Help with the Children's Hospital in San Juan de Dios - Chile
    • Assistance with the Rain forest Action network - USA
    • Miracles of faith foundation and financial assistance to local schools together with over $3000 to a local hospital for needed special equipment - Argentina
    • Raising funds via cross country events and endurance feats for Help for heroes - UK
    • General associated work with Amnesty International - India
    • Work with prisoners by an "Associate" doctor - Uruguay
    • Various local charity works with deprived children and apprenticeships - UK
    • Clothes, toys, coffee machines and microwaves to needy people in Nicaragua and more recently Haiti - USA
    • Assisting Roma and Sinti organisations in Switzerland and financial help to a children's Hospital in Cambodia - Switzerland
    • Potential creation of a charity gift aid scheme - England

    • Direct assistance with much needed aid for Romania flood victims
    • Direct assistance to Great Ormond Street Children's hospital for equipment needed and otherwise unavailable
